My car had to be towed in because it died. They looked at my car and in about an hour was able to call me to say my alternator had to be replaced. Every time I bring in my car they do great work and for a great price. They even had time to do an oil change in my car and I had it back and running by the end of the day.

Outstanding CUSTOMER service! We were in quite the pinch the day after Christmas. We drove in from the Bay Area and upon hitting the streets in Sacramento, my wife noticed some odd sounds coming from the front of the car. We were desperate for a mechanic and, not surprisingly, most shops were closed the DAY after CHRISTMAS. Thank God Mike Rodriguez and the crew at MIA/MIJ were working. I spoke with Mike over the phone at around 315 pm, described the problem and asked if he had the capacity to perform a diagnostic and perform repairs [assuming the problems weren't catastrophic] that same day [i.e. about 2 hours before closing during a Holiday week when other mechanics were closed!] as we planned on hitting the slopes first thing the next morning. He told me he would pull a mechanic to help and immediately report back to me. We dropped the car off, met Mike [very pleasant] and about an hour later, he sent me a link to a report and called me shortly after to discuss the scope of repairs. Upon my authorization, he got his mechanic on the job and they were done right before closing! The invoice was for the same amount as indicated during our call. Our drive up to the snow, around Reno and Tahoe, and back to the Bay Area confirmed the repairs were done right! He even walked me through the report and urged me to get the other items identified in the report by my mechanic when I returned home. Mike and his crew did a fantastic job on the technical side of auto repair and more importantly an even better job on customer service.

This place is so awesome I don't know where to start. First off, as a female that has very little mechanical knowledge, finding an auto repair shop that was knowledgeable, ethical, and operated with integrity was super important to me. These guys came highly recommended to me by word-of-mouth and my experience has been nothing but excellent. They even found errors made by the previous shop that worked on my 4runner and helped me work with them to get them fixed! These guys are the definition of going above and beyond. They meticulously track everything regarding my vehicle so I don't have to and provide expert opinions about what maintenance is urgent and what can wait, it gives me peace of mind to not have to track and manage all of that myself. Also, how many times have you gone to pick up your vehicle after service and the bill is even cheaper than initially quoted? It's not an uncommon practice here, because if they end up saving on something, they pass it along to the customer as well. These guys are solid and as long as they are in business, it is the only place I will take my rig!
