I would have second thoughts if I had to come back here again. Even-though they figured out the the problem with my vehicle. They tried to get me over on the part, costing a lot more than it actually was. So just some friendly advice, Although they seem like they're nice guys, be alert because when they have an opportunity to screw you, they will.

My 1996 Toyota Tacoma starting popping out of 1st and 3rd gear and had general poor shifting performance. After the folks at Made in Japan test drove it to verify the problem, they immediately called me with good news that it wasn't what they initially thought could be a transmission issue but rather a relatively cheap fix to replace the shift lever cap. After only a few hours, they turned the keys back over and I drove away with a stick shift that now operates as smooth as butter like when it was new. Easy fix, very satisfied customer, honest repair shop--Thank you, Phil!
