We're Hiring Experienced Technicians
Please note: Made in America Made in Japan was rebranded to Jack Dane Auto Service. Older reviews may reference our former name, but the same great service continues.
Phil was the best!! I called because my multi-function display unit in my Prius was on the fritz. He said they could replace it and ordered the part. The same day, I heard back from a company that can repair them at a fraction of the cost. Phil happily cancelled the order, and refunded my deposit. I truly appreciate his understanding about me not wanting to spend $1000 more than I needed to. And he also learned about a service he can recommend to other customers in the same predicament.
Great service as always. Trustworthy and reliable. Best mechanics and service in town. Always stand by their work. Convenient location. Great dog!
Took five hours to get an oil change. Also got charged for labor putting the total cost at well above what other maintenance places offer for the same service. Won't be coming back.
I've been taking my 10 year old Acura and a 10 year old Ford expedition to this shop for a number of years now. The staff have always been upfront and honest with me. They've been very good at telling me which repair recommendations are "essential" and which are things that I could safely put off without causing me a big expense down the line. I'm not very mechanical, but they are patient while explaining what is going on with my car in terms I can understand. Even my suspicious husband is impressed and is confident that I get a fair de
Phil and his team provide excellent customer service! They don't try to sell me something I don't need and provide options for me when determining what car repairs I need on my older vehicle. They definitely know how to take great care of their customers! Thanks a million!
While Made In America Made in Japan's prices may be a bit ouchy, their service and skill cannot be underestimated. I have come to them twice now to replace my clutch and the lug nuts on my wheels (as well as some general oil leaks and other tuning). They carefully explain what needs to be repaired, what can be delayed, and try to make it as financially convenient as possible. They also guarantee their work (certain repairs, I believe) countrywide (correct me on that if needed). My car is driving better than it ever has. Thank you so much!
As usual MIA/MIJ has showed the other repair companies how to be responsive and customer service oriented. When my battery failed me the first person I called (after AAA of course) was Phil to determine if he could help me . . . in the next 30 minutes! Of course he could! I struggled down to the shop 10 minutes before closing on a failing battery and Phil was there to meet me. I left the vehicle overnight and returned the next morning with not only a new battery, but assurances that all other electrical systems were properly functioning. And with the rebates that I had earned, the total cost was incredibly reasonable. Thanks so much for all your help.
Service was great and it was easy to get a no-surprises appointment.
I can always count on excellent service by a well trained staff. I appreciate your friendly attitude. Thank you!
good professional interaction with owner setting up an appointment and keeping me apprised of the repair progress. My Honda Civic has over 175k miles so a little war torn. He made suggestions as to which work needed to be accomplished immediately and what work might be reasonably put off for a little while. Work was done within the promised timeframe, my car was clean and ready to go when I arrived to pick it up.
